Do you think you are on the verge of being The Next Big Thing?
Would you like a little networking boost and link love headed your way?
I’m going host a weekly “The Next Big Thing” interview spot on this site until.. there isn’t anyone else who wants to promote their newest project.
I will be asking each writer to answer the same questions and post their answers each week on a Monday.
If you’d like to be part of this, message me via Twitter or Facebook ( links are on the side of this page) and send me in your answers. If you’d like your photo posted – send that as well. Send the links to your latest publications and your site, so that folk can wander on over to find out more about you after they have been captivated by your witty and insightful answers. (no pressure).
The other part of this link love project is that you open your blog up to writers you have ‘met’ on your journey and post their answers up on your site.. including mine – I’ll send you my answers photo etc by return email.
So.. here is your check list.
1. Answer the questions – remember to include your photo and links to your sites.
2. Send those in to me.
3. Post something like this post on your blog and ask some of your writery type friends if they’d like to be promoted on your site.
4. Post MY 8 questions and answers on your blog.
5. Post other peoples on your blog as they send them in (and encourage them to post yours on their sites too.)
Hope all that makes some sort of sense…Have fun with it..
The questions are below. (and don’t get strung out thinking its just for novels either – anthologies of short stories or poetry are included!)
1 Where did the idea come from for the book?
2 What genre is the book?
3 What actors would you choose to play the part of your characters in a film?
4 What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
5 How long did it take to write the first draft of your book?
6 Who or what inspired you to write this book?
7 What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
8 Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
Hope to be sharing your goals and plans with my audience soon.
