eLit Book 2013 Awards

Filed under: Awards, published works — Annie Evett @ 12:01 am

Such exciting news to share!

The electronic version of the Charity Anthology – New Sun Rising been awarded a GOLD medal IPPY award – which is pretty cool, given there are thousands of entrants from round the world.

There is an awards ceremony in New York in about a month or so time, which sadly – as much as I’d love to jet off and go – I can’t make it.. I am hoping some of the contributors who live around there is able to go in my stead.

I’d like to publicly thank  Sylvia Petter who has been the driving force for so long on this. The project stumbled a number of times, but was always held together by a wonderful editorial team – and now is still enjoying awards and sales – which I may add are still being sent to the Japanese Red Cross.

If you haven’t read it yet, you can buy the anthology in e-book ($5) or paperback ($10.05) for Amazon.  http://www.amazon.com/New-Sun-Rising-Stories-Japan/dp/0987138316

Please join us in our virtual party to launch New Sun Rising.

As you may have noticed on the twitter-spere, New Sun Rising, the charitable Anthology set up to benifit the victims of the japanese Tsunami is about to launch. Its been quite a journey to get this far, and I hope you will offer your encouragement during the weekend.

I would love supporters to purchase the book in a concentrated time frame with the intent to capitalise on the volume of sales to move the book up the Amazon best seller list. The higher up the chart it is, the more visible it becomes to other readers who may go on to purchase it.

It’s all about exposure and the more people who come across New Sun Rising, the more books we sell and the more money we raise.
